Today was a 1/2 day.

Block 1  Spanish 3-4 Honors:

-Students  completed the warm up activity.
-Students finished copying the 3.1 lesson vocabulary.
-Students started a bingo card using the 3.1 lesson vocabulary.  The front of the card should have 25 Spanish words on the front.  The back of the card should have 13 pictures and 12 English translations.
-Some students started the 2.2 reading assignment and worked on the handout that goes with the reading passage.

-Students read about the use of masks as part of the Day of the Dead celebrations. 
-Students created a mask of their own.
-Students created a skeleton using a cursive copy of their own names to form the main part of the skeleton.  Students added accessories to their skeletons.
-Students read a second handout with information about the Day of the Dead.
-Students completed the "L" column on their KWL charts based on their reading.
-Students turned in their October homework calendars.
