Blocks 1 & 2  Spanish 1-2:

-Warm Up
-Students quizzed a partner on the new vocabulary for Unit 2 Lesson 2.
-Students completed listening workbook pages 84 and 85.
-Students worked on their reading handouts from yesterday 
-Students used individual whiteboards to practice verb conjuation.

-Students helped generate a list of types of information they think they should research about these countries. 
-Students quizzed a partner on the new vocabulary for Unit 2 Lesson 2.
-Students took notes on the body parts vocabulary.
-Students listened as I described my "best friend" in Spanish.  They drew a picture of the person as they were listening.

-Warm Up - Students turned in their warm up papers.
-Students corrected workbook pages 76 and 77.
-Students received their March homework calendars.  
-Block 2 students took a quiz that required them to write out the date, day of the week, weather, etc.
-Students completed a handout using the verb estar. 
-Students created a word search using vocabulary from Unit 2 Lesson 2.  Students had to hide 18 words in Spanish in the puzzle and write the English translations at the bottom of the page.
-Students were reminded that the cutoff date for make up work for this quarter will be Thursday, March 14, 2013 at 3:00 pm.

-Students had to make their own word search using 20 words from the Unit 2 Lesson 2 vocabulary.  Students had to hide the words in the puzzle in Spanish and write the English translation at the bottom.
