Today was a 1/2 day for students.

Blocks 1 & 2  Spanish 1-2:

-Warm Up with a handout
-Students turned in the signature page for the course outline.

-Block 1 students finished playing bingo and turned in their bingo cards.
-Block 1 students completed the grid find someone who activity.
-Students completed their T Shirt designs.
-Students set up their binders/dividers.  The categories are: tarea, warm ups, vocabulario, verbos and apuntes.  I will be checking these for grades.
-Students started the Multiple Intelligences Inventory.

-Graded papers were returned to students.
-Students practiced reciting the alphabet.  They will need to present this to me by the end of the week.
-Students participated in a class discussion about Carlos Santana and what he was famous for.  They started their lists of Famous Hispanics with this information.  
-Students quizzed a partner on the Preliminary Lesson Vocabulary.
-Students completed the True Colors Inventory and we discussed what the results mean.

-Students made snowflakes for the students at Sandy Hook Elementary School.  They decorated the snowflakes and wrote on them in Spanish.
-Students played bingo using the cards they made this week. 
-Students will need a binder with 5 dividers by Monday.

-Students took notes on 3 basic conversation questions including: What is your name? Where are you from? How are you?

-Students practiced the conversation with several different partners.  

-Students practiced reciting the alphabet in Spanish.
