-Students completed the warm up.
-Students played a number game to practice the numbers 1 - 100 in Spanish.
-Students in block 1 took notes on the verb tener and completed a practice activity using the verb.
-Students in block 2 took notes on regular AR verbs in the present tense and made a practice T chart using the verb.
-Students who have not yet presented, practiced their dialogs.

-Students completed the warm up.
-Students quizzed a partner on the 1.2 vocabulary for 8 - 10 minutes.
-Students watched the video about the 2 students from Central America and took notes in a T chart format.
-After the video, the students created a Double Bubble Map to compare and contrast life in the two countries
-Students made their own word searches using 20 words from the 1.2 vocabulary list.   The Spanish words/phrases needed to be hidden in the puzzle.  The English translations needed to be written at the bottom of the paper.  Remember that the puzzle needs to be challenging.

Blocks 1 & 2  Spanish 1-2:
-Students completed the warm up.
-Students copied the Unit 1 Lesson 2 vocabulary list.
-Students made a bingo card using the 1.2 vocabulary.  The front of the card should have 25 Spanish words from the list.  The back of the card should have 10 pictures and 15 English translations in the corresponding boxes.
-Students read the introduction to the new vocabulary on pages 56 and 57.  They translated letter A on page 56 and letter D on page 57 into English.
-The students also completed activity 1 and Para y Piensa on page 58.
-The students played scrabble in groups using the new vocabulary.

Block 4  Spanish 3-4 Honors:
-Students completed the warm up.
-Students copied the Unit 1 Lesson 2 vocabulary list.
-Students created a bingo card using the 1.2 vocabulary.  The front of the card should have 25 Spanish words from the list.  The back of the card should have 13 pictures and 12 English translations in the corresponding boxes.  
-Students read the presentation of the new vocabulary on pages 60 and 61.

-Students completed the warm up.  They started a new paper
-Students participated in a class discussion about Isabel Allende and took notes on her accomplishments.
-Students completed a writing activity about which of the four famous people we have studied so far made the greatest contributions to the world. 
-Students practiced the lesson vocabulary by playing hangman with a partner.
-Students completed a practice activity using the subject pronouns and the verb ser.

-Students practiced their dialogs about the things they like to do.
-Students in block 2 took notes on the verb ser and completed a practice activity using the verb.
-Students in block 1 quizzed a partner on the lesson vocabulary and took a pop quiz over the vocabulary.
-Students completed the pronoun/ser handout.
