Block 1  Spanish 3-4 Honors:
-Students completed the warm up on a new paper.
-Students received graded papers/notebooks.
-Students participated in a class discussion about Salma Hayek and took notes on her accomplishments.
-Students recited the 4.1 lesson vocabulary.
-Students listened to the introduction to the new vocabulary and took turns reading it aloud.
-Students worked with their table groups to translate part of the introduction to the new vocabulary.
-Students played bingo using the cards they made on Friday.



Homework:
-Jorge Mas Canosa biography due by 7:30 am, April 22,  2016.  This must be submitted via Google Classroom.  Remember to explain why Mr. Mas Canosa's work is important to you and/or how it changed the world.  You can always look at the sample paragraph on the blog.
-Workbook pages 148 and 149.
-8th  Timed Verb Pretest over stem changing verbs in the preterite will be on Thursday, April 22, 2016.
-"Responding to Mrs. Landry's Travel Blog" assignment is due by 7:30 am on Friday, April 22, 2016 in the Google Classroom.







Blocks 2 & 4  Spanish 1-2:
-Students completed the warm up on a new paper.
-Students received graded papers.
-Students participated in a class discussion about Tito Puente and took notes on his accomplishments.
-Students in block 2 copied the 4.1 lesson vocabulary.
-Students in block 2 created a bingo card using the 4.1 vocabulary.
-Students in block 2 updated the table of contents for their ISNs and completed any remaining work in their notebooks.
-Students in block 4 recited the 4.1 lesson vocabulary.
-Students in block 4 listened to the introduction to the new vocabulary and took turns reading it aloud.
-Students in block 4 played bingo using the cards they made on Friday.




Homework:
-Judith Baca biography due by 7:30 am, Friday, April 22, 2016.  This must be submitted via Google Classroom.  Remember to explain why Ms. Baca's work is important to you and/or how it changed the world.  You can always look at the sample paragraph on the blog. 
-Workbook pages 148 and 149.
-Extra Credit Assignment, "Responding to Mrs. Landry's Travel Blog" is due by 7:30 am, Friday, April 22, 2016 in the Google Classroom.
