Block 1  Spanish 3-4 Honors:
-Students completed the warm up.

-Students finished their comic strips for retelling the legend from 4.1.
-Students read the story, "No Eran de la Misma Clase." Before reading, students marked all of the preterite and imperfect verb forms in the story.
-Students drew a picture to represent the story and wrote 4 sentences in Spanish to retell the story.

Block 1  Spanish 3-4 Honors:

-Students listened to the first two parts of the leyenda that is presented in 4.1. Students discussed the events in the first part at their tables and then, we shared as a a class.
-Students played vocabulary scrabble using the words from 4.1. Each word that was played on the game board had to be used in a sentence that would become part of the table group's story.

Block 1  Spanish 3-4 Honors:
-Students completed the warm up.
-Students completed a handout to practice irregular verbs in the preterite and glued it on page 30 in their notebooks.
-Students created a travel poster for Cuba on page 60 in their notebooks. They had to write 6 sentences in Spanish about real things tourists can see and do in Cuba.The picture had to be in color.
-Students cut 7 pictures out of magazines and glued them on page 71 of their notebooks. Next to each picture, they had to state whether or not the item was handmade and they had to explain what materials the items were made of.

Each description had to include the following information: name of the person, relationship to the student, age, place the person was born, 3 likes, 3 dislikes, 2 physical characteristics and 2 personality traits.

-In the Google Classroom, students had to select 3 of the articles from the list to read. After reading the three articles, students had to complete a summary/reflection for each article and submit the assignment in Google Classroom.
-Students started the reading assignment for the lectura for 3.1.
