Block 1  Spanish 3-4 Honors:

-Students completed the warm up.
-Students completed a handout to practice irregular verbs in the preterite and glued it on page 30 in their notebooks.
-Students created a travel poster for Cuba on page 60 in their notebooks. They had to write 6 sentences in Spanish about real things tourists can see and do in Cuba.The picture had to be in color.
-Students cut 7 pictures out of magazines and glued them on page 71 of their notebooks. Next to each picture, they had to state whether or not the item was handmade and they had to explain what materials the items were made of.

Homework:
-Salma Hayek biography due by 7:30 am, April 15th 2016.  This must be submitted via Google Classroom.  Remember to explain why Ms. Hayek's work is important to you and/or how it changed the world.  You can always look at the sample paragraph on the blog.
-Workbook pages 124 and 127.
-Go to www.classzone.com and take the 3.2 self check quiz. Remember to take a screenshot or copy and paste the score into an email and send it to my pvlearners account. This is due by Wednesday, April 13th at 7:30 AM.
-Unit 3 Lesson 2 Quiz - Wednesday, April 13th. Quiz Topics: Lesson vocabulary, irregular verbs in the preterite and stem changing verbs in the preterite.

-7th  Timed Verb Post Test over new irregular verbs in the preterite (estar, poder, poner, saber and tener) will be on Friday, April 15, 2016.

Blocks 2 & 4  Spanish 1-2:

-Students completed the warm up.
-Students completed a handout to practice using possessive adjective and then, they glued it on page 68 in their notebooks.
-Students created a travel poster for Cuba on page 60 in their notebooks. The picture had to be completed in color. They also had to write 6 sentences in English about real things that tourists can see and do in Cuba. 
-Students continued working on their sentences about their family members on page 66 in their notebooks. Each description had to include the following information: name of the person, relationship to the student, age, place the person was born, 3 likes, 3 dislikes, 2 physical characteristics and 2 personality traits.

-Students completed the reading comprehension activities that go along with the lectura for 3.1.

-Students reviewed the list of current event articles that the class generated last week.
-In the Google Classroom, students had to select 3 of the articles from the list to read. After reading the three articles, students had to complete a summary/reflection for each article and submit the assignment in Google Classroom.
-Students started the reading assignment for the lectura for 3.1.
