Blocks 1 & 2  Spanish 1-2:
-Warm Up - Students started a new paper. 
-In groups of 4 students played concentration matching countries and their capitals.
-Graded papers were returned to the students.
-Students took notes on regular ER and IR verbs in the present tense.  
-Students created two T charts to practice conjugating regular ER and IR verbs in the present tense.

Homework:
-Workbook pages 105, 106 and 107.
-Jaime Escalante biography email is due to my pvlearners account by 7:30 am Friday, March 22.  Be sure to share at least 5 facts about Mr. Escalante.
-Study for the map quiz over South America tomorrow.  Remember that you will need to spell the countries and their capitals correctly.
-Be prepared to present country projects on Wednesday and Thursday.
-Study for the Unit 3 Lesson 1 quiz on Friday, March 22.  The topics for the quiz are: lesson vocabulary, the verb gustar with nouns and regular ER and IR verbs in the present tense. 


Block 5  Spanish 3-4:
-Warm Up - Students started a new paper. 
-Students finished the midterm exam from Friday.
-In groups of 4, students played concentration matching countries and their capitals.
-Graded papers were returned to the students.
-Students had about 10 minutes to work with their groups on their country project presentations.

-Study for the map test over Mexico, Central America and the Caribbean tomorrow.  Remember that you need to spell the countries and their capitals correctly. 
-Be prepared to present the country projects on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
-Study for the Unit 2 Lesson 2 Test on Friday, March 22.  The topics for the quiz are: lesson vocabulary, the present progressive tense and reflexive verbs.
