Blocks 1, 4 and 5  Spanish 1-2:
-Students completed the warm up.
-Students recited the lesson 3 vocabulary.
-Students had time to complete any remaining work from Friday.
-Students in block 5 took notes on descriptive adjectives.


Homework:
-Antonia Hernandez's biography is due by the beginning of class on Friday, October 25, 2019.  The directions for this assignment are in the Google Classroom. The assignment needs to be completed in your notebook.
-Finish any work that was not completed in class.
-Study for the lesson 3 test. Test topics: lesson vocabulary, regular ER and IR verbs in the present tense, the irregular verbs tener and venir, descriptive adjectives and possessive adjectives. Blocks 1 and 4 test date: Wednesday, October 23, 2019. Block 5 test date: Friday, October 25, 2019.



Block 2 Spanish 3-4H:
-Students completed the warm up.
-Students recited the lesson 2 vocabulary.
-Freshmen students had freshmen advisement during this period.
-Students had time to complete the remaining work from Friday.


Homework:
-Maria Hinojosa's  biography is due at the beginning of class on Friday, October 25, 2019. The directions for this assignment are in the Google Classroom. The assignment needs to be completed in your notebook.
-Finish any work that was not completed in class.
-Study for the lesson 2 test. Test topics: lesson vocabulary, stem changing verbs in the preterite, direct object pronouns, comparisons and superlatives.

Blocks 1, 4 and 5  Spanish 1-2:
-Students completed the warm up.
-Students recited the lesson 3 vocabulary.
-Students received their October calendars.
-Students in block 1 played the final round of concentration and used their Spanish cards in sentences in their notebooks.
-Students added the ER and IR verb lists to their notebooks and translated all of the verbs.
-Students in block 5 created their vocabulary concentration game.



Homework:
-Martin Sheen's biography is due by the beginning of class on Friday, October 4, 2019.  The directions for this assignment are in the Google Classroom. The assignment needs to be completed in your notebook.
-Blocks 1 and 4: workbook page 62.
-Block 5: finish translation of ER and IR verb lists.




Block 2 Spanish 3-4H:
-Students completed the warm up.
-Students recited the lesson 2 vocabulary.
-Students received their October homework calendars.
-Students played the final round of vocabulary concentration.
-Students used their Spanish concentration cards to write a story in their notebooks. 


Homework:
-José Martí's  biography is due at the beginning of class on Friday, October 4, 2019. The directions for this assignment are in the Google Classroom. The assignment needs to be completed in your notebook.
-Finish stories using concentration cards if that was not completed in class.

-Students glued their AR verb lists in their notebooks.
-Students in block 5 added the lesson 3 vocabulary to their notebooks.

-No new written assignment.
